Job summary This post will project manage and clinically lead a quality improvement project relating to health literacy, managing minor illnesses and accident prevention and improving the uptake of health and developmental reviews. Main duties of the job Scope the current provision across the nominated boroughs relating to minor illness and accident prevention and provide an analysis of any gaps in service or practice. Develop a project brief and plan identifying key milestones and service improvements in the given area. Toact as a role model demonstrating highly specialist knowledge in health visiting practice as the HIA lead, that is underpinned by theoretical knowledge and relevant practice experience To provide facilitative and supportive leadership to health visiting colleagues. To act as a lead in your specific area of interest. To actively participate in the teaching and support of staff and clients about minor illnesses and accident prevention.
