If youre an HRBP well versed in strategic lifecycle management, change and delivering proactive talent centred projects, we need to talk. The role will have oversight of a small team, more operationally focused, while you support the European HR Director and own the local strategy.
Now I know what youre thinking, but its an interim role? Yes, initially the role will be recruited to cover a period of absence and therefore will take on caretaking responsibilities for annual cycles. However, the recent appointment of the new HRD does pose some opportunities to support or take the initiative on key project areas.
The role sits within a European division of a global business so you can expect to walk into a well-maintained environment with centres of excellence, well run processes and systems that work. The role will see you support the senior management team and take on team management but the desire is there to find someone who can challenge, think laterally to provide new solutions or ideas and improve the HR provision, and raise performance in the business.
And, as is often the case with roles of this nature, there is potential to be extended in post, or in alternative capacity.
Who are we looking for?
An individual with demonstrable experience operating as a strategic business partner and is comfortable managing a small team of more operationally/ delivery focused HR heads. While working for a large global business where a lot of HR practices work, bringing someone in to challenge existing ideas, offer alternative view points and be forthcoming with ideas for change would be welcomed.
