We are looking for a senior content manager to tell the story of NICE through our owned and earned channels. This will include the corporate website and social media channels, as well as leveraging external stakeholder channels such as trade press and stakeholder blogs.
The postholder will lead the creation of exciting and engaging multi-media content that highlights the impact NICE can have on the health and care system. The role will involve close collaboration with the strategic communications manager, writer, social media manager, and media manager to horizon scan, map out, and deliver a steady drumbeat of corporate content across our owned and earned channels.
The role will also oversee the creation of corporate publications such as the annual report and business plan, as well as thought leadership pieces on behalf of the executive team (ET). This senior role will involve working directly with ET, particularly the chief executive, on the creation of content.
The role will report to the Associate Director for Content and Channels. As our senior content manager, you'll:
1. Work closely with ET, the CEO, and Chair to develop thought leadership pieces.
2. Support the writer in identifying and building external relationships to leverage earned channels.
3. Lead the development of corporate content campaigns, ensuring that all content is high quality and informed by insight and regular evaluation.
4. Lead the development of corporate publications such as the annual report.
5. Provide leadership to the writer and graphic designer.
The Communications Directorate is responsible for ensuring that all those with an interest in our work understand our role and responsibilities and can access our guidance and other products and services. We're responsible for media relations, external communications, internal communications, enquiry handling, publishing, and content design on www.nice.org.uk.
This role is based in the created content and channels team, focusing on sharing content effectively across all our channels.
