Description
* Client leadership: Managing a portfolio of audit clients, maintaining strong client relationships, and acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
* Technical oversight: Ensuring all audit work meets professional standards, reviewing complex technical issues, and providing final quality review of audit files.
* Team management: Leading, developing, and mentoring audit managers and their teams, including performance evaluations and career progression.
* Risk management: Identifying and addressing audit risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing quality control procedures.
* Business development: Contributing to practice growth through identifying new opportunities, participating in proposals, and cross-selling additional services.
* Strategic input: Contributing to the firm's audit strategy, methodology improvements, and implementation of new audit technologies.
* Financial management: Monitoring engagement profitability, managing resource allocation, and ensuring timely billing and collection.
* Regulatory responsibilities: Acting as a Responsible Individual (RI) signing audit reports and maintaining appropriate professional skepticism and independence.
* Market presence: Representing the firm at events, building networks, and enhancing the firm's market reputation through thought leadership.
* Innovation: Driving adoption of new audit approaches, technologies, and methodologies to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
