Join BAE Systems and play a key role in designing the future of naval ships. We are looking for a Detail Designer to support their Maritime division, delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Role Overview:
As a Detail Designer, you will develop and refine designs, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality, and technical standards. You will collaborate with teams and support best practices to enhance design processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Use design tools such as Foran and CE.
* Develop designs in line with specifications and quality standards.
* Investigate and resolve design issues.
* Support process improvements and best practices.
* Provide guidance to junior team members.
* Ensure compliance with project requirements and deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
* HNC/HND in engineering or related field.
* Experience in engineering or a defence-related industry.
* Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of design tools and engineering principles.
