Take up this crucial role as a Supply Chain Engineer for this progressive MedTech company. Their proprietary technology aims to tackle scaling challenges within the personalised medical therapy market, providing optimised and cheaper solutions for patients.
As their Supply Chain Engineer, you’ll be responsible for procurement of high-tech components for both prototyping and production builds (be the primary contact for suppliers and contract manufacturing partners). You’ll be comfortable speaking with engineers and scientists as well as those in logistics and sales. You’ll have an organised approach including documentation and appreciation of project planning. In a crisis, you’ll be a calm individual with mitigation plans in place and an understanding of capabilities. Moreover, you will understand compliance, regulations and conformance within the MedTech space (with future work including the setting up of a bespoke MRP system).
Requirements:
* Engineering or Physical Science degree with relevant industry experience covering multiple aspects as described in responsibilities.
* Demonstrable experience troubleshooting supply chain issues around complex electromechanical systems within a regulated industry.
* Experience using Python and Source Control.
* Good analysis and technical documentation skills.
* Additional experience with software tools for developing test scripts, processing log files, databases, network communication protocols or robotic prototyping would be beneficial.
Good communication skills are paramount and expected for this position. No company sponsorship is available – applicants must have full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK. Due to the nature of projects and teams, the role is fully onsite. The company will look to provide some flexibility where possible but this is informal. The company do provide a full range of benefits as part of their standard compensation package.
