In this role you’ll working in a hybrid way, splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy) 2-year fixed-term contract We’re looking for a Commercial Delivery Assurance Manager to join our Commercial Operations team. In this role, you’ll help to make sure that projects with the Commercial team land effectively and that change is implemented with minimum disruption. We’ll look to you to mitigate regulation impact and look after commercial impacts of format and change schemes. If you are a commercial subject matter expert, we can give you the opportunity to support the delivery of our 4-year profitability growth plan making a positive impact for our Co-op. What you’ll do Take the lead on projects that span a number of areas and functions across the business, understand key requirements for commercial, and translating them into actions Be a commercial subject matter expert, helping us to deliver specific projects across the department Identify where there are dependencies with other business units and build partnerships with other teams Shape practical, cost effective and compliant solutions to problems, integrating them in a way that maintains or improves profitability Define and support the implementation of changes to ways of working across the buying teams Act as a filter for all Commercial project activity, making sure that activity is prioritised Work collaboratively with all our buying functions, acting as an ambassador for change Line manage, support, and develop a team of analysts This role would suit people who have The ability to build strong working relationships with key partners across the business A strong level of commercial acumen Good knowledge of the retail industry and regulatory requirements Excellent presenting skills with the ability to engage, inspire and motivate colleagues at all levels with the confidence to influence and promote the benefits of projects Experience of project delivery and cost management with great organisational and prioritisation skills Why Co-op?
