Principal Network Compliance Officer needed in North London paying £17.91 per hr Ref 012665 Role Purpose: Oversee inspection and enforcement for the New Roads and Street Works Act, Highways Act, and highway safety. Report on conditions and implement improvements. Serve formal notices and collaborate with relevant authorities and partner agencies. Job Context: Work within the Network Management team, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and policies. Supervise Statutory Undertakers' works and ensure adherence to relevant Acts and codes of practice. Conduct highway safety inspections and raise works orders to maintain standards. Main Duties: Deputise for the Network Team Leader. Lead and coach Technical Officers in street works and highway maintenance. Ensure compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, and Highways Act 1980. Represent the organization at public inquiries and meetings. Prepare reports and evidence for legal proceedings. Issue notices related to highway activities. Conduct inspections and ensure remedial actions are taken.
