Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in civils, earthworks, and drainage to oversee a critical construction project in Blackburn. The project involves replacing a retaining wall, installing a new Flex MSE wall (70m in length), taking down a section of the road, installing a new drainage run, resurfacing, timber post installation, and minor de-vegetation work. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. Review project plans and specifications to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues. Manage the use of construction equipment and machinery. Resolve problems and implement improvements in construction processes. Maintain communication between project managers, site staff, and clients. Conduct quality and safety inspections regularly. Prepare and submit project estimates and budgets. Document and report progress to stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations.
