We are seeking a flexible and motivated person to join their dynamic manufacturing team.
As a key member of the operations team, you will initially be responsible for optimising production schedules and managing stock levels.
The scope of the role will expand as the company continues to grow and your own skills develop.
The Job: Develop and implement efficient production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise resource utilisation.
Monitor and analyse production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with the commercial and operations teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of products.
Manage stock levels to balance supply and demand.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Work towards migrating production planning activities onto MS365 Navision.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and documentation.
Provide support to production teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
The Person: Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to be flexible to accommodate the demands of a growing business and a small management team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience of using an ERP system, would be ideal, but not essential.
