Hays Senior Finance are working with an SME company in Skegness to recruit a Management Accountant.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director (finance trained), you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts including group consolidation, quarterly VAT returns, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis, payroll, stock, looking after insurances and utilities, and supporting the production of the group’s statutory accounts as well as supervising a small team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be AAT, part-qualified, qualified by experience, or a qualified Accountant used to working in an SME environment. You will have experience of producing management accounts, VAT returns, helping to create and manage budgets, UK GAAP, double entry bookkeeping, and consolidations. You will have good IT skills, including Excel. Exposure to Sage 200 would be beneficial. You will be a team player, a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative, able to develop ideas and influence colleagues. You will have strong attention to detail, be articulate, and have strong communication skills. You will be living in an easy commute of the Skegness area as the role is fully office-based.
