Grafton Recruitment is looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to join a public sector organisation on a 12 month fixed term contract (FTC).
Given the breadth of commodities you will be involved in and size of some of the contracts, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and expand your skillset in procurement.
You will manage a diverse set of goods and services contracts and tenders for the organisation guiding a number of less experienced procurement professionals through the procurement process.
Responsibilities:
Leading procurement projects through supplier identification, tendering, evaluation, and award of contracts.
Overseeing contracts, driving value, and supporting strategic business initiatives.
Driving improvement in process and identifying opportunity for increased value.
Managing ongoing supplier relationships and acting as point of escalation with suppliers.
Working with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain strong commercial agreements.
Analysis of data and spend analysis.
Supporting and developing team colleagues through procurement process.Requirements:
Experience in procurement, ideally within the public sector.
Management of complex contracts.
Strong background in tendering and contract management.
Proven track record in supplier relationship and stakeholder management.
