Due to our continued growth within SSEN Transmission, we have several opportunities for part-time discipline engineers to help deliver our ambitious growth plans for the future, particularly the "Pathway to 2030" ('Pathway to 2030' underpins £7bn+ investment in north of Scotland transmission network | SSE) and our NetZero 2050 plans. Ideally, we are looking for a minimum of 21 hours a week with flexible working patterns from 3- 5 days. There are various specialisms required which include
Previous responsibility for the associated Engineering discipline delivery on assigned projects of typical capital value £200M - £1B.
- The ability to provide technical input for your specialist discipline as well as interfacing with other technical and project functions.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Energy or Networks industries are preferable.
- Good technical knowledge of industry standards, technical specifications, and how to determine applicability of relevant standards.
- A degree in appropriate engineering discipline (preferably CEng or working towards this).
