A friendly and welcoming school in South Bristol is looking for a year 5 class teacher to join their team until the end of the academic year. The school is well connected by public transport and has good car parking facilities.
The school is a part of a local multi academy trust that works primarily with schools in South Bristol/ North Somerset and strongly believes in holding high expectations of all of their pupils.
This role will require a strong, year 5 class teacher with good assessment for learning techniques, who will be able to teach an upper key stage 2 class. You will be provided with weekly PPA time in order to plan and prepare lessons for the class.
The successful candidate will have:
* UK qualified teacher status,
* Experience of working as a teacher within the last 10 years,
* ECTs are welcome to apply for this role,
* Be able to differentiate content for pupils with SEND,
* Have good behaviour management,
* Be able to utilise formative and summative assessment to maximise pupil progress and prepare them for SATs.
