Job Description:
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large organisation in the Liverpool area who are recruiting for a Payroll Advisor to join their team. They provide an excellent working environment, work from home opportunity, and discounts!
The client is going through a systems transformation period and needs a Payroll Advisor to join their busy payroll department.
Key Duties/Tasks:
1. Technical skills including Oracle System & Excel
2. Support the busy payroll department with high volume starters and leavers
3. Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
4. Must have very strong Excel as lots of manual processing
5. High volume, fast-paced environment
6. Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
7. Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example, reconciliations
8. Manual calculations
9. Experience of T & A system useful
10. Oracle system ideally
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
1. 2-3 years Industry experience
2. Previous payroll experience in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
3. A keen eye for detail
4. Enjoy working within a team
5. Strong basic maths skills
6. Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries
7. Confident with Excel
8. CIPP advantageous but not essential
