We are recruiting for a very well-established eCommerce and technology services business who are working within in the music and entertainment sectors. They are a dynamic and forward-thinking team who pride themselves on their innovative solutions, and their working environment that always encourages learning.
Reporting to the Technical Support and Platforms Lead, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you’ll be doing
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring optimal performance of their systems.
What experience you’ll need
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.
* 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or development role.
* Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, SSL, DNS, and general website performance concepts.
* Back-end: PHP, particularly in WordPress environments.
* Familiarity with CMS platforms, particularly Shopify and WordPress.
* Experience with database management and SQL.
* Great communication and interpersonal abilities written and verbal.
* Excellent organisational skills including prioritising work.
* Ability to work proactively, methodically and at speed.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
