About us
You will be joining a proactive skill mixed team working together to deliver the Healthy Child Programme. As part of the 0-19 Service which includes Health Visiting and School nursing, you will be working closely with other local statutory, health and voluntary agencies to provide accessible, person centred packages of care in response to individual and local need. The post is to support children and young people in the heart of Birkenhead. You will be a part of a multi disciplinary team striving for the best outcomes for children and young people.

1. Registered Nurse (Adult/Child)
2. Evidence of recent professional development
Desirable
1. Mentorship Level 6
2. Modules at level 6 - Public Health Related
3. Solihull Approach trained
4. Motivational Interviewing trained
5. Immunisation training
Experience and knowledge
Essential
1. Knowledge of Public Health Priorities
2. Knowledge of child development
3. Knowledge of safeguarding issues and working with vulnerable families.
4. Understanding of role within the Public Health Team

1. Two years post registration with 12 months community experience
