Head of Business and Sector Development
Location: Flexible across offices in Scotland
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Business and Sector Development to play a crucial role in shaping and executing the firm’s business development strategy. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will drive revenue growth and enhance sector presence through innovative strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Development & Implementation: Collaborate with the CMO to develop business development strategies aligned with the firm’s goals. Lead a team to meet ambitious targets while embedding a business development culture across the firm.
2. Collaboration & Coordination: Work cross-functionally to promote collaboration and support fee earners with sales pipelines and marketing initiatives.
3. Client & Market Focus: Prioritize prospects and lead the preparation of proposals, pitches, and sector presentations. Monitor market trends to identify business opportunities.
4. Marketing & Communication: Enhance firm rankings, drive PR efforts, and promote sector expertise through various channels. Support CRM development and best practices.
5. Client Engagement & Events: Lead client engagement programs and collaborate on event development to enhance relationships with key decision-makers.
6. Coaching & Development: Coach lawyers on business development best practices and promote continuous improvement in processes.

Skills & Experience:
* Proven business development experience, ideally in professional services.
* Strong client relationship management, strategic planning, and CRM proficiency.
* 5+ years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or sales.
Qualifications:
A degree in Business, Marketing, or Law is required. A master’s or professional qualification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £77,000.00 per year
Schedule:
