\n\nJob Title: Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer\n \nCBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join the team located in Cardiff.\n \nThe successful candidate will be able to install and maintain new plant and equipment when required, ensuring that plant faults and defects are swiftly rectified.\n\n Role Summary: \n\nReact to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA's.\nTechnical awareness of computer room/call centre/trader operations and experience of power, UPS, CPS, distribution, cooling etc.\nAble to apply a risk focused maintenance approach and operations of plant and systems in data centres/critical environments.\nProvide emergency response standby, call out\nEscalate urgent issues identified through to the Technical Services Manager\nRespond to work interruptions, outages or emergencies consistent with the SLA.\nResponsibility for ensuring all critical related engineering maintenance documentation & records is kept updated\nUndertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned works.\nUnderstand and interpret technical drawings / instructions / processes & O&M's\nEnsure completion of all reactive Helpdesk Requests\nReview and submit to the Technical Services Manager ensuring all actions are documented reviewed and completed.\nEntering relevant quotes and remedial works onto the in-house system\n Experience Required: \n\n17th/18th Edition Qualified\nExperience of working in Facilities Management desirable\nRecent experience in a similar role\nUnderstanding of a CDM process\nExcellent facilitation, communication skills at all levels\nEvidence of Excellent Customer Service Delivery\nAble to organise self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirements.\nExperience of H & S procedures & requirements. COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment etc.\nHealth & Safety Qualified i.e.
IOSH and/or NEBOSH\nTesting and Inspection of Electrical systems\nKnowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols.\nUnderstand the monitoring of utilities and environmental programmes
