About the role
The ideal person for the role of HR Administrator requires a highly motivated, efficient, and organised individual who enjoys working as part of a team, whilst also being comfortable working independently. As HR Administrator you will:
1. Support the HR Team with all employment-related matters
2. Ensure the Charity and its people are operating within the confines of all relevant legislation
3. Provide an effective and efficient HR Service across all Charity Departments
4. Assist with recruitment, fleet management, payroll, pension, and benefits
Responsibilities include:
1. Process new starters and leavers
2. Create new starter packs including offer letters, contract of employment, etc.
3. Conduct pre-employment checks including references, DBS, and right to work
4. Assist with disciplinary and grievance processes
5. Maintain accurate sickness and absence records
6. Assist with payroll preparation and benefits management
7. Chase, obtain, and log all HR documentation, including induction paperwork, appraisals, self-certifications, training certificates, etc.
8. Arrange and facilitate induction for all new employees and ensure a smooth onboarding process
9. Assist with recruitment across all departments, placing adverts, tracking applicants, arranging interviews, etc.

About you
To be successful for the role of HR Administrator, you will have the following skills and attributes:
1. GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
2. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Excellent IT skills
5. Ability to plan and prioritise workloads
6. A positive 'can-do' attitude with a flexible approach to work
