Salter Grange is partnering with an innovative international Engineering company specializing in Mission-Critical projects across Europe and beyond, recruiting a BIM Manager to join a busy Data Centre project in Spain.
The ideal BIM Manager will have a track record in project delivery and extensive knowledge of complex Mechanical and Electrical systems, preferably in Data Centres. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a dynamic and rapidly growing business with a £1.5B turnover.
With a full order book for several years, this role offers significant opportunities for a capable BIM Manager to contribute to the growth and expansion of the Business Unit.

BIM Manager Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the design teams as required, ensuring agreed workflows are in place for timely sign-off of drawings.
2. Ensure project deliverables and deadlines are met in accordance with agreed project schedules.
3. Ensure BIM deliverables are in place at project commencement and agreed with the project manager/Sector manager.
4. Provide weekly project reports in accordance with BIM standard reporting procedures, highlighting status, issues, and plans with PAS, including constraint logs and hours consumed vs hours forecasted for the BIM team.
5. Provide innovation and efficiency guidelines and direction to the BIM project team.
6. Drive the BIM team strategy, tactics, and plans across the project team and wider BIM department.
7. Responsible for production of 3D Construction models from base information - Base Design, PID's, Scan & point cloud data.
8. Attendance at design and construction reviews.
9. Assistance in the overall development of the BIM protocols and systems.
10. Training and mentoring of new entry staff on completion of training modules.
11. Ensure integration of models into federated model for overall coordination.
12. Development of 3D coordinated services and structure layouts for clash control.
13. Development of mechanical & electrical systems and designs coordinated building services layouts, management of drawing registers and standards.
14. Production of 3D design drawings, prefabrication isometrics and details.
BIM Manager Requirements:
1. 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
2. Excellent organizational skills.
3. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
4. Experience on similar projects.
