About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Associate to join our dynamic and growing dental practices. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dental care, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of treatment. This role is perfect for a dentist who is passionate about oral health, patient satisfaction, and professional development.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
3. Carry out a range of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canals, and preventative care.
4. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care techniques.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently.
6. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development.
7. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
9. Participate in marketing and promotional activities to attract new patients and retain existing ones.
10. Provide emergency dental care as needed.
Qualifications:
1. BDS or equivalent dental degree from a recognized institution.
2. Valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practising dentist.
4. Proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. High level of professionalism and commitment to patient care.
7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. Up-to-date knowledge of dental technology and practices.
9. Valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
10. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
11. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Desirable Skills:
1. Experience with digital dentistry tools and software.
2. Additional certifications in specialised areas of dentistry (e.g., orthodontics, implantology).
3. Familiarity with NHS and private dental practice regulations.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
