I am seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to take ownership of venue sales at a high-profile and large-scale venue in London. This proactive role will focus on securing new business, nurturing key client relationships, and developing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth. While the role is primarily based at the venue, there will be some activity and travel between sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full ownership of venue sales, proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
* Develop and implement a strategic sales plan, with the support of the Sales Director, to maximise revenue.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and key stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery and client satisfaction.
* Support and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
* Attend networking events, trade shows, and site visits to generate leads and enhance the venue's profile.
* Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven track record in proactive sales within the events, hospitality, or venue sector.
* Experience in selling large-scale venues, stadiums, or event spaces is highly desirable.
* Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute sales initiatives.
* Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
* Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider team.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
