The Evidence Synthesis team works on qualitative and quantitative evidence synthesis activities, including systematic, structured, and targeted literature reviews, meta-analysis, and indirect treatment comparisons. The team collaborates with clients, stakeholders, and internal experts to deliver rigorous research findings supporting various needs in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key responsibilities:
* Conduct literature searches using online tools and databases with minimal supervision.
* Develop draft search strategies with guidance from senior team members.
* Leverage systematic and targeted literature review methodology to identify and select relevant published literature sources with minimal supervision.
* Perform data extraction with minimal supervision.
* Analyze a large evidence base and draw considered conclusions.
* Prepare high-quality written technical reports with guidance from senior team members.
* Prepare high-quality presentations for internal and external use.
* Ensure all work is delivered with high-quality and within planned project timelines and budgeted hours.
* Ensure proficient use of EndNote and Microsoft Office applications.
* Attend internal and external team meetings.
* Contribute to the team's development of templates, new ideas, and process improvements.
* Contribute to the team's development of publications and posters for national or international conferences.
Requirements:
* 2 years industry or consulting experience in evidence synthesis work or market access/HEOR.
* Masters or PhD within a relevant discipline.
* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple simultaneous projects.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent time management and ability to work within set project timelines.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to find creative solutions.
* Early ability to manage projects with guidance, including setting project goals, timelines, budget, and coordinating with the project team.
* Early stakeholder management skills with guidance, including ability to challenge diplomatically and appropriately.
* Knowledge of or experience with quantitative evidence synthesis preferred, but not required.
* Technical knowledge of the market access/HEOR environment, with specific UK/European or US experience preferred, but not required.
