A passionate and growing company who provide exciting entertainment and leisure products into online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay as well into some large retailers such as Sports Direct. They are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator.
This role will focus on managing freight logistics, tracking shipments, overseeing warehouse activities, and supporting production timelines, all while ensuring timely and accurate communication and data management.
Candidates must be able to drive due to where we are based and lack of transport links.

Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and book freight for shipments, ensuring timely receipt of shipping documents and delivery scheduling to the warehouse.
2. Generate and distribute shipping reports to keep all teams updated on order status and shipment progress across internal stakeholders and the 3PL warehouses.
3. Match freight invoices with incoming goods and update the system accordingly.
4. Monitor shipment status via freight forwarder portals and provide regular updates on estimated delivery times.
5. Liaise with factories and freight forwarders to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
6. Submit necessary documentation for customs clearance.
7. Obtain manufacturing authorization from licensors as required.
8. Collaborate with third-party warehouse management to ensure optimal stock arrangement and efficiency.
9. Provide costing and quotes for sea and air freight shipments as required by the business or customers.
10. Lead the yearly stock take process with the warehouse team.
11. Conduct regular visits to the warehouse, at least once a month, or as needed.
What the client is looking for:
1. Strong understanding of freight booking, shipment tracking, and customs clearance procedures.
2. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations coordination.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
4. Experience in liaising with freight forwarders, factories, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
5. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field (preferred).
6. Previous experience working with third-party warehouse management is a plus.
