Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day supervision of all reception staff and associated functions including the repeat prescribing, ensuring all functions are carried out in accordance with procedures, protocols and time-scales reporting to the Deputy/Practice Manager as necessary and appropriate. There are 2 vacancies one for Sina Health Centre (25 hrs per week) and one for Ashmore Park Medical Centre (12 hours per week).

Main duties of the job
Knowledge of EMIS web advantage
Reception & leadership experience is essential, IT literate, Microsoft office Word, Excel.

Paper/electronic workflow systems
Attendmeetings when necessary with the Deputy Practice Manager
ProvideInduction and training for new reception staff
Ensurepractice policies are followed and accurate records are kept particularreference
toappointments, messages, visits patient registration repeat prescribing, birthsdeaths etc
ReportIT problems
Reportmaintenance faults lights, doors, building issues as necessary to NHSPS (NHSProperty Services)
Ensurecommunications system are running smoothly and that reception staff are keptfully informedof changes and procedures
Beconversant with Practice Fire Regulations
