* Design and deliver functional skills and life skills programmes tailored to individual needs, with a clear focus on preparation for adulthood.
* Coordinate and lead small group and individual interventions, ensuring a consistent, nurturing and structured approach.
* Support and guide TAs working within the ARB, providing leadership and modelling excellent practice.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
* Has proven experience working with autistic students, particularly at secondary level.
* Understands the importance of structure, high expectations, and nurture in helping young people thrive.
* Is organised, proactive and enjoys leading programmes that are creative, bespoke, and impact-driven.
* Has the confidence and skill to lead other staff within the ARB and contribute to the wider team’s development.
* Ideally holds a full driving licence, or is willing to train, and would be happy to drive the school minibus if needed.
* Is first aid trained, or willing to undertake training.
Why Join Bitterne Park School?
* Be part of an inclusive, forward-thinking school that values every learner’s unique pathway.
