It’s an exciting time to join the Jacobs water team – we’ve secured multiple major infrastructure projects and multi-year contracts with leading public and private clients.
Our water and wastewater projects have sustainability at their core and are outcome-driven to protect the environment, reduce flood risk, improve water supplies and add value to our local communities. We are seeking engineers with a Civil Engineering background who are looking to grow their careers in exciting new ways. Working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, your role will be key in helping our clients to deliver innovative and efficient solutions to achieve best customer value and meet their environmental challenges.
We have current opportunities to join our growing water teams in Christchurch and Auckland as a Senior Civil Engineer. You will have the opportunity to work on technically interesting projects both regionally and nationally which also provides excellent opportunities for personal and professional development at all stages in your career. Here's what you'll need:
* Qualified Civil Engineer for 5+ years with professional recognition.
* Experience in civil and structural design of three waters infrastructure.
* Experience in design of gravity and pressure main distribution pipelines.
* Experience in design of pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants.
* Ability and willingness to guide junior staff for their growth and benefit to our team.
* Inclusive mindset and ability to collaborate across geographies as part of diverse teams.
* Strong communication skills across various platforms which make for a truly flexible workplace.
* Passion for the water industry.
