Basic Salary: £30,500 plus overtime, company van, mobile, tablet and benefits
Candidates must hold a UK or Irish Driving Licence as this role involves travelling to various sites.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation who are seeking a Service Engineer to join their expanding team.
As a Service Engineer, you will have proven experience of working as a Service Engineer or in a similar role, preferably within the smoke ventilation, fire safety, or HVAC industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of smoke ventilation systems.
2. Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
3. Carrying out client site visits, inspections, and compliance checks in accordance with industry standards.
4. Providing technical support and guidance to clients.
5. Completing daily service reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
6. Working closely with the engineering and projects team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Candidate Skills:
* Must have excellent electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience working with smoke ventilation systems or fire safety equipment.
* Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, FIA Certification).
* CSCS or equivalent health and safety certification.
