Job overview
The Estates department is looking to enhance their Maintenance team and add a Maintenance Assistant.
You will work as an integrated member of the Estates team across a multi-discipline of trades.
Main duties of the job
You will assist with day-to-day maintenance and repairs, reactive work, and installations within a building and engineering environment. Basic engineering knowledge is desirable.
You will need to drive the department vehicle to collect spares/equipment as required, therefore, a full clean driving licence is desired.

* Knowledge of workshop practices
* Experience of hand tools
* Buildings knowledge
* Understanding of Plumbing, Electrical, and/or Mechanical Services
* Computer literate and keyboard skills
Qualifications
* City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Domestic Heating
* Evidence of experience in an engineering or building environment
* Working toward the completion of a recognised Apprenticeship
