The client are a family run, Maintenance, Planned work, M&E and Compliance provider. We are looking for Roofing Contract Manager to join our award-winning team. You will be responsible for a team delivering Reactive, day to day & planned roofing maintenance works, throughout the northwest and central regions of the UK.
Role overview: Roofing Contracts Manager
* Responsibility for Managing & overseeing various Roofing Maintenance & Planned works from quotation to completion.
* Effectively manage daily deployment and scheduling of engineers and subcontractors to optimise productivity and minimize travel time.
* Ensure that engineers and subcontractors consistently meet quality control standards. Identifying and requesting training requirements for the team and providing mentorship to new team members.
* To ensure jobs are delivered on time and within budget along with ensuring site safety and quality is maintained.
* Dealing with customer enquiries and concerns promptly.
* Meet clients, or sub contractors to assess work, and produce quotations /estimates and deliver within budget. Also, to provide an advisory service and to develop effective relationships with client representatives. statements (RAMS) and produce construction phase plans as needed.
* Work closely with the Contract Support Team to ensure required information is collated and added to the system.
In addition, the following skills and qualifications are either required or desirable:
* Roofing trade qualifications /background.
* Have a strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction.
* Quoting/ estimating experience required.
* Solid background in Managing Roofing work.
* Excellent communication skills and able to communicate across all levels.
* Ability to work within a pressurised environment, including multi-tasking, problem solving and working independently.
* IOSH – Desirable.
* Demonstrable experience of using a range of IT packages to communicate with all parties to contract. Fully conversant with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and a willingness to learn other systems
* Reliable and punctual, ability to manage own time and workload
* Dress code is smart casual
* The role is office based with site visits approx. 65/35 split.
We are offering:
* Permanent, full time contract
* Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 dependant on experience
* Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00am-17:00pm
* Holidays: 22 days per annum, plus 8 Bank Holidays, increases with service to a Max 25
