Job summary This post is based in Hertfordshire. CLCH Academy have partnered with a partner university of East London to deliver this exciting 4 year apprenticeship program. During the program you will gain a wide range of knowledge and clinical skills in a variety of settings, while also undertaking a BSc (honours) degree. Successful completion leads to Podiatry registration with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Main duties of the job This is a developmental role for those already working within Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of one year working in a clinical healthcare environment. Applicants will also need to have successfully completed any probation period. The apprentice will work towards progression into the post of Podiatrist through successful completion of the Podiatry apprenticeship which includes the attainment of a level 6 BSc (honours) degree. The Podiatry Apprenticeship combines and integrates both academic and work-based learning through close collaboration between employers and education providers. As an apprentice you will have a primary base as an employee, in a particular organisation, in a specific setting, but will have placements to experience working in alternative settings in order that they gain a wide appreciation of many health and care contexts and are able to fulfil all the requirements of the programme.
