St Edmund’s Nursery School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Early Years SEND Support Worker on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with young children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Our ‘Early Years Enhanced Specialist Provision’ is fully integrated within our outstanding Nursery School and provides care and education for children with various, often very complex needs and disabilities. You will work with children (and also with their families) who have physical disabilities, sensory impairments, speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties, conditions such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties.
The role will be demanding but highly rewarding and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and expertise working closely with an experienced SEND and Early Years team, supported by the SENDCO, in our forward thinking, outstanding nursery school.
