The Vacancy
As the Finance Business Partner, you will report to the Head of Commercial Finance with responsibilities covering the forecasting & budgeting processes, commercial and business support, IT system development lead for Commercial Finance along with routine reporting and analysis of business performance. This will include all aspects of the SSUK entities performance, system developments along with partnering with non-finance contacts and external stakeholders.

The Role of the Finance Business Partner
Business Partnering within Commercial Finance:
* Responsible line management of one direct report
* Lead the development of key business reporting
* Management and explanation of business forecast & budgets including variance analysis
* Business partnering with both Commercial and Business leads in conjunction with the Head of Commercial Finance and Commercial Finance Manager
* Business partnering with the IT function leading the development of financial systems and processes
* Support the strategic planning process for the business
* Undertakes and leads ad hoc projects as required
* Supports Head of Commercial Finance in the conduct of their duties
* Supports business change initiatives
* Challenges current working practises and processes to drive improvement within the finance function
* Maintains effective working relationships with the Company's stakeholders and external parties
Requirements of the Finance Business Partner
Essential Requirements of the Finance Business Partner
* 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in business partnering roles
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
* Successful track record of working with non-financial stakeholders
* Previous product costing experience
* Controls and compliance working experience
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Managing team workload and delivery
* Managing through complex systems
* Functional & technical skills
* Excellent organisation skills and able to work to tight deadlines
* Integrity and trust

The Working Pattern of the Finance Business Partner
* The Finance Business Partner will work office hours 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
