You will be joining a well-established, innovative and dynamic team.A Training Coordinator is responsible for training and supporting both care and office teams to ensure they have the required mandatory and additional skills they need to provide care safely to our residents. The Training Coordinator will ensure that all of our teams understand their roles and responsibilities and are able to carry out their caring duties safely and efficiently. To assist with quality and training audits, analysing the data and preparing plans for action Support and maintain a culture of performance and excellence, acting as a role model for the care functions within the homes. Develop and present training courses for staff members. To be responsible for working alongside the Management team in identifying and implementing all mandatory and other training needs for all staff across our care homes. To ensure robust induction and ongoing training and support systems and processes are in place to provide assurance that the essential standards of quality and service are delivered to residents. To be responsible for maintaining the training matrix within the Homes, identifying and implementing the training requirements of the home To be responsible for developing training and development programmes for staff in a structured way, assisting non-clinical staff to develop in their roles and levels of competence About you: You will have proven experience in a training role and will ideally hold a formal qualification in training e.g. PTTLS or an Assessors Qualification. You will have previous experience of working in the health and social sector, particularly in elderly and dementia care. You will have excellent organisational and planning skills with attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills both oral and written. This role is fully field-based and will require you to travel to homes within your set portfolio. Travel to multiple sites in one day may be required. A full driving license is essential for this Training Coordinator role.
