What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit additional teaching assistants into our expanding SEND team. You will join a department which is highly successful and very supportive. Teaching Assistants at Blessed William Howard play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of all students, with a particular focus on working with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Teaching Assistants work closely with teachers to ensure that students receive the individual attention and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, in line with the school's Catholic ethos and commitment to inclusivity.
The successful candidate will:

• of enthusiasm in the specialist laboratories
• be determined to get the very best out of our students, seeing them reach
• their full potential
• have a genuine passion for supporting student’s needs
• ideally have an understanding of EHCP plans
