Key Responsibilities of KS1 Teacher: Design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in alignment with the KS1 curriculum, fostering a love for learning. Establish a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Monitor, assess, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs and development. Promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of students, ensuring their well-being and success. Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and school staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning experience. Implement positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment. Requirements of KS1 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1). Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development. Passion for primary education and student progress. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
