Purpose The Electrical Engineer reports to the Head of Engineering. Meet site safety standards. Meet regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001, ISO14001 and cGMP as well as the requirements of cross contamination prevention. Meet the budgetary requirements for the electrical group cost centre, EWA related work and capital projects related to the electrical discipline. Ensure the manufacturing plan is achieved through optimised changeover activities and a reliable asset base. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Key Accountabilities 1. Assist with the deployment of key operational and maintenance strategies within the electrical group 2. Provide technical direction for the electrical group and maintenance team, communicating operational strategies and performance 3. Deliver the electrical aspects of all Capital Projects ensuring good engineering practice is applied whilst also maintaining capital expenditure within budget limits. 4. Improvement of the production asset uptime through a reduction in outages associated with electrical equipment and maintenance excellence. 5. Ensuring legislative compliance within the electrical function. SHEQ Management 1. H&S – Risk management, method statements. 2. Attended/participated in HAZOP’s when required. Equipment Management 1. Working knowledge of various Motors and Invertors installations. 2. Specifying equipment. Team Building & Incentive 1. Assist Senior Electrical Engineer in generation, data collection and monitoring of Construction level KPI’s. Communication 1. Communicate and coordinated within all production and engineering related departments. 2. Engage at all levels within engineering and production. Confidentiality 1. Respond to all duties as directed by either Senior Electrical Engineer, Control Engineer or Head of Engineering Projects.
