Based in our Liverpool office, this role requires an enthusiastic approach, strong energy, and good technical skills to provide excellent technical sales support, customer service, and problem resolution. Comprehensive product training will be provided to help you become well-acquainted with our specific in-house tools and methodologies.
Candidates should have a solid understanding and some practical experience with geospatial solutions and services. This position is suitable for professionals in geomatics or related fields who are keen to develop their skills and contribute to a dynamic and innovative team.
You will work alongside members of our Professional Services and Product teams with a range of data capture, analysis, visualisation and compliance technologies. In doing so, you will provide critical input for delivering projects on time.
With exposure to an expanding range of market sectors and an extensive knowledge pool, you will deliver dynamic, innovative solutions to our customers by thinking both logically and creatively.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Operations Director, using your established skillset in GIS, you will provide consultancy with clients (either individually or as part of a team) to understand requirements and then implement GIS-based solutions to meet those requirements.
* Providing expertise, guidance and support to customers in the installation, integration, configuration and use of GIS platforms.
* As part of the services we provide, develop and implement GIS solutions to various key account customers.
* Acting as a trusted technical advisor, helping to demonstrate best practices with GIS technology and growing a customer’s understanding of GIS.
* Deliver first-class training and technical support remotely and at customers' on-site premises.
Requirements
* Over 3 years of experience in the GIS industry.
* UK or Irish citizen or valid UK work permit holder (including EU Settlement Scheme), without the need for further sponsorship.
* Full clean driving license with a willingness to travel.
* Master's Degree in GIS or a related discipline.
* Expert user of ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online.
* Proven development skills in Python and Arcade, including APIs such as ArcPy and ArcGIS API for Python.
* Thorough understanding of GIS best practices for quality control.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to think creatively and logically to solve design and development problems.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply knowledge practically.
* Experience in GIS applications within the Utilities, AEC, or Environmental sectors.
* Familiarity with ArcGIS Experience Builder (including Experience Builder Developer Edition).
* Experience with ETL packages such as FME Flow Hosted, FME Cloud, and ArcGIS Data Interoperability Extension.
* Proven experience and understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS), such as SQL Server and/or Oracle.
* Knowledge of CAD and BIM, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360.
* Experience with managing mobile data capture software, such as ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123.
* Experience with high-accuracy GNSS technology.
* Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
