About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time position starting on February 24th and continuing until Easter, with the potential for extension. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, fostering a love of mathematics, and ensuring students achieve their full potential.
The school have a strong ethos, where their aim is to provide a well-rounded, progressive and outstanding education to all students. They have had Outstanding judgements from Ofsted. They have a successful and thriving community.

Contract: Full time
Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam specifications.

* Ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
* Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practices.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess inspiring Maths lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and progress.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback to drive improvement.
* Support students in preparing for GCSE exams, ensuring they reach their full potential.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
* Participating in extracurricular activities and events.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
* Uphold the school's safeguarding policies, ensuring the welfare of all students.
