Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Senior Electrical Engineer, being client focused is an essential attribute and you will be able to demonstrate solid experience of working in a design capacity and good working knowledge of building services installations. Working as part of a team you will be expected to manage your own work, undertake details design to the required standards. You would be based in either our Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds office and work on multidisciplinary projects, joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions. Job Responsibilities: At AECOM we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company, for this role we believe your starting point is To take a key role representing AECOM on MEP projects leading your own discipline and also managing engineers of a complementary discipline Able to work using their own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of their discipline or have specific specialist experience applicable to the role. Complete detailed designs and support supervise the work of others in this function. Demonstrate good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced. Have an ability to inspire confidence in team members both internally and externally, and then use this to strengthen team client relationships. To mentor and assist with the development of junior engineers Manage you own time on projects to suit deadlines and complete their assigned tasks. To have a strong interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools. We seek engineers that fit with our culture and have experience working digitally by coding, working in IESVE. You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to design and delivery of Building Services projects. Minimum Requirements: Relevant experience in design and delivery of projects within the consulting industry (preferable) Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, able to inspire, influence and negotiate. Available to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion
