About the role -BSL Teaching Assistant - Newham
* Small classes to support staff and create a safe environment
* As a BSL Teaching Assistant, you'll be welcomed into a warm and inclusive community.

* BSL Teaching assistants are required to provide motivation for children
* Help promote independence
* Support and liaise with the class teacher, sharing progression of the children.
Ideal BSL Teaching Assistant
* British Sign language (BSL) qualification level 2 minimum
* Experience working with children/young people with Special Educational Needs
* Ability to translate BSL from hearing impaired students to non-signing students
* Assist and support the classroom teacher daily
* Passionate to make a positive impact on children's lives
* Experience working in a school or school like setting
