Blackburn, Childers & Steagall, PLC is seeking a motivated Full Time Experienced Tax Professional with at least 4+ years of experience in public accounting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ability to review individual and/or entity tax returns
2. Exhibit a deeper understanding of tax law and the ability to research more complex tax matters
3. Demonstrate a commitment to producing a high quality product
4. Provide tax-related consulting services to clients
5. Exhibit an understanding of the various software’s utilized in the Tax Department and the ability to assist others with software functions
6. Ability to prepare a complete and organized work paper file through review and/or preparation
7. Maintain relationships with clients to facilitate tax return preparation
8. Contributes to team success both through technical proficiency and leadership skills
Education and Experience Required:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2. 4+ years of tax experience in public accounting
3. CPA license preferred
