Manage financial accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting. Develop and implement financial management strategies to optimise resources and control costs. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of financial data. Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with organisational objectives. Monitor cash flow, investment strategies, and risk management practices to safeguard the organisation's assets. Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, presenting insights on financial performance and strategic recommendations. Experience Proven experience in financial planning, accounting, or management within a similar role. Proven experience of working in the supported housing sector. Strong understanding of financial services and cost control measures. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting and data interpretation. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are desirable but not essential.
