About Us:
Honest Ideas is a boutique marketing, branding and advertising agency overlooking the river in Cambridge. We deliver a broad range of marketing services: Brand strategy and design, website design and build and advertising, for a diverse range of clients – (80% B2B). We pride ourselves on solid strategic thinking backed by excellent creativity and customer relationships. We are seeking a talented Account Manager to join our team and help us expand our client portfolio and manage existing accounts.
Role Overview:
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, keeping up good client relationships and having ownership of your work. Your expertise in advertising and marketing, coupled with your brilliant communication and leadership skills, will be crucial in delivering successful campaigns and achieving client objectives.
What you’ll do:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, understanding their business goals and marketing needs.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and brand strategies that align with client objectives. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to drive successful campaigns and run brand workshops.
Project Management:
Oversee the execution of marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. Coordinate in-house creative and external resources to deliver high-quality work across a wide range of projects including:
* Campaigns and Advertising
* Brand strategy and identity
* Video commercials
* Digital marketing
* Digital: websites & SEO
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients. Use data-driven insights to optimise future strategies.
Financial Management: Manage account budgets, including forecasting, invoicing, and tracking expenses. Ensure account profitability through effective financial management.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development. Assist with creating pitch proposals with creative teams and secure new clients and projects.
Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages a high standard of strategic and creative output.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Account Management experience in an advertising or marketing agency, with a proven track record of managing clients and delivering successful branding projects and campaigns.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in project management tools. Experience with digital marketing platforms and analytics tools is a plus.
Attributes: Client-focused, proactive, detail-oriented. strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential.
