E-Commerce Assistant
We are a patient-centred charity that delivers palliative and end of life care to those with advanced life-limiting illnesses, who live in Northwest Surrey. We care for patients and provide support to families and carers in the community as well as in our In-Patient Unit and Well Being Centre at the Hospice.

Retail Colleague
A successful E-Commerce Assistant will be:
1. Must have GCSE English and Maths [or equivalent]
2. Photographic flair
3. Excellent IT skills
4. Numerate
5. Literate, with strong grammar skills
6. Able to plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
7. Ability to calculate and record basic sums to enable accurate completion of banking and trading statements
8. Basic IT skills
9. Understanding of the current ecommerce environment
10. Effective communicator with excellent communication skills both face to face and in the written form.
11. Understanding of safe working practices
A successful candidate will have:
12. Sector relevant training and qualifications
13. Online experience – selling online – personal or professional
14. Knowledge of postal systems, picking and packing items
15. Microsoft Excel experience
16. Understanding / interest in current trends and fashion
17. Understanding of Gift Aid and why this can make a significant difference to increasing income
18. Knowledge of other courier postage options
19. Knowledge of current trends in fashion and the retail atmosphere
20. Knowledge of resale within the online marketplace
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not limiting in this position.
