The Pharmacy department is looking for a Bank Pharmacy Technician to work within our friendly Pharmacy teams at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust, ideally at our Winchester site in the Outpatient Pharmacy Department.
Main Duties of the Job
We are seeking a reliable and flexible pharmacy technician with excellent organisational skills. As a member of the Outpatient Pharmacy team, you will contribute to the provision of a range of pharmaceutical services, including issuing prescriptions and providing advice where appropriate. You will work alongside Pharmacists, Pharmacy technicians, and dispensers to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures to meet the needs of our patients. This position would suit someone with a hospital pharmacy background or with community pharmacy experience wishing to transition into the hospital environment. Further training and development will be provided.
Minimum Requirements
You must have either successfully achieved the relevant units of pharmacy services skills NVQ level 2 (QCF) or the relevant units of an equivalent GPhC accredited training programme.
