Your team
The Operations team at CTI Digital is the backbone of our business, ensuring seamless resource management and efficient planning across the organisation. By balancing staffing levels to align with client needs, they drive utilisation and overall profitability. Collaborating across departments, the team maintains smooth operational processes, supports strategic decision-making, and enhances both client and staff satisfaction. With a keen eye on efficiency and performance, the Operations team plays a vital role in delivering success for our business and our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our Resource Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring efficient resource planning and optimisation across the business. Your key responsibilities include:
* Managing Resource Allocation & Utilisation – Oversee company-wide resource planning, balancing workloads, and ensuring maximum efficiency.
* Owning & Optimising the Resource System – Maintain accurate data, track availability, and continuously improve resource management processes.
* Future Capacity & Recruitment Planning – In collaboration with the People Team; analyse demand, support hiring decisions, and manage a trusted network of contractors for flexible support.
* Facilitating Estimates & Prioritising Needs – Work with project managers to ensure accurate resource forecasting and effective decision-making.
* Identifying Risks & Presenting Insights – Anticipate resourcing challenges, provide strategic solutions, and share capacity updates with stakeholders.
* Supporting Operations & Process Improvement – Assist with operational administration and refine resource management strategies to drive business success.
What experience you need to be successful
To excel as a Resource Manager, you’ll need a combination of strong organisational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Key skills and experience include:
* Resource & Project Management – Proven experience in resource planning, balancing workloads, and managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management – Ability to collaborate with teams across the business, ensuring clear communication and alignment on resource needs.
* Highly Organised & Detail-Oriented – Skilled at tracking multiple projects, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Comfortable handling changing demands, identifying risks, and developing solutions to optimise resource efficiency.
* Self-Motivated & Proactive – Able to work independently, anticipate challenges, and drive continuous improvements in resource management.
* Experience in a Digital or Agency Environment – Understanding of agency workflows, project lifecycles, and the importance of utilisation in driving profitability.
