About this role:
Wells Fargo CIB operations is seeking a detail-orientated Middle Office Specialist to support the Syndicate and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) division. The DCM team are responsible for pitching, offering, and executing Wells Fargo's DCM capabilities to UK and EMEA based clients.
The successful candidate will be immersed in all aspects of the deal lifecycle and make a real and significant contribution in successful execution of transactions and helping the DCM team win new business. Products covered are Investment Grade, High Yield and ABF securities. The role will involve constant interaction with multiple teams including Trading, Sales, Compliance, Legal and Onboarding to name just a few.

In this role, you will:
* Ensure syndicate execution of all active book-running deals; close interaction with other syndicates and European sales teams.
* Verify and process all sales tickets and associated hedges intraday to minimize risk.
* Execute transaction management; collating and filing all deal documents, approvals and credit memo's in a closed deal file.
* Extensively contribute in all aspects of the deal lifecycle from onboarding, managing MNPI, P&L reporting, settlement and expense invoicing.
* Be a point of contact for multiple teams including Sales, Compliance, Legal, Control Room, Deal Committees, Onboarding and Operations teams.
* Execute project work to help grow the EMEA DCM business such as Post Brexit workflows, ticket automation, increasing local settlement capability and streamlining deal execution and approval.
* Provide Ad hoc support for EMEA DCM team such as helping produce pitch materials, weekly pricings and market commentary emails for internal and external distribution.
Required Qualifications:
* Excellent communication skills.
* A keen interest in banking and finance and an understanding of Debt Capital Markets.
* A strong work ethic and pro-active attitude.
* Analytical with a very good eye for detail.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Good knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Bloomberg would be beneficial.
* Experience in Capital Markets middle office, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
