We are looking for a highly motivated, organised, and dynamic Business Development Director to join our Sales team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in selling Managed Services to new logo organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, develop, and win new business prospects in line with sales targets.
2. Develop and manage the sales funnel via CRM to enable accurate business forecasting.
3. Establish wide and effective networks of contacts via various channels of engagement.
4. Collaborate cross-departmentally & contribute positively towards all facets of the prospect/customer experience.
5. Stay updated on market trends and news by attending relevant industry exhibitions and networking events.
What we are looking for:
1. 3+ years of Managed Services sales experience in B2B sales (SaaS, software, IT, cyber, solutions and/or services).
2. Demonstrable track record of creating new logo pipeline and exceeding new business sales targets.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Experience of ‘Value Based Selling’ and multi-level relationship engagement skills.
5. High-energy, self-starter as well as a collaborative team player.
6. Negotiating skills and the ability to influence at a variety of levels, including ‘C’ level.
7. Resident in the UK for the last 5 years, to obtain the required level of security clearance.
8. Hold a UK driving licence and own a car (business insurance will be required).
9. Have the right to work in the UK.
